Sagada’s Cafe and Restaurant

Sagada is fast gaining a reputation on its restaurants and cafes. From cafes that serve home-made yoghurt and lemon pies, to sumptous meals cooked by a French chef, there are now plenty of choices for eating out than ever before. Some guesthouses have their own dining rooms but one can always find a good restaurant in town serving delectable dishes for all kinds of tastes.
Popular Restaurants include the Yoghurt House, Log Cabin, the Sagada Lemon Pie House, Alfred’s Cabin, Rock Cafe, St. Joseph Cafe, Bilig Cafe, and Cuisina Igorota.
Yoghurt House
Homemade Yoghurt is their specialty. The texture of the yoghurt is extra thick and creamy. Mixed with hefty banana slices, and topped with strawberries and granola, it is very yummy and oh-so-healthy. Their veggie rice dishes and pastas are also very delicious and filling.
St Josephs Café
is in the same compound as its namesake. Nice setting, lovely verandah upstairs, outdoor seating. The menu on offer is extensive, Filipino, and generally agreed to be good. Generous servings of fresh vegetables can be expected. Bread, sweet and savoury, is baked by our local chef and can be bought by the loaf. This café is open all day and now has indoor and outdoor seating.
Masferres
Masferre Inn and Restaurant offers spacious, clean rooms in the center of town. The dining area serves marvelous dish like chicharon with onion and tomatoes, deceivingly simple in name but pleasantly complex in texture and taste.
